NOTICE: BOOK PICK-UP SERVICE

Beginning Monday, May 18th, we will offer entryway pickup. This is the only service available at this time. For the safety of the public and our staff, the building will remain closed to the public. Entryway pickup is the first phase to restore library services. We do not yet have a timeline for the gradual reopening of the building, but when we do, limited services and social distancing measures will be in place.

 

How to place items on hold:
Place items on hold either by using the online catalog (you can place items on hold online using your library barcode and a 4 digit PIN, if you do not remember your PIN, call the library and we can make one), or by emailing us at wellsvillelibrarybooks@gmail.com.  Include your name and phone number.  Starting Monday 18th, we can take phone orders on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10:00 – 1:00. If you would like staff to choose items for you, give us a call and we can fill out a preference sheet.  A staff member will call you when your hold is ready.

To pick up your holds:
We will schedule a day and timeframe to pick up items. Only one person would be allowed in the entryway at a time. A staff member will have your items checked out, bagged, and labeled with your name available on a table in the entryway.

Returning Items:
All items must be returned to the outside book drop. Staff are not permitted to accept in-person return of library materials. To protect our patrons, returned items will be quarantined for seven (7) days before being placed back into circulation. No overdue fines on materials will be charged until the library is open to the public.
